Certain products sold on our website are fulfilled and shipped by third‑party suppliers, including Temu. This policy explains how returns and refunds work in those cases.


1. Definitions

Because many items are fulfilled by Temu and shipped internationally, returns and refunds are subject to Temu’s Return & Refund procedures, which are incorporated into this policy.


3. Return Window

  • Most items can be returned within up to 90 days of purchase, depending on the product category and supplier rules.

  • Electronics may have a return window of 45, 60, or 90 days, depending on the seller.

  • In all cases, the return period will never be shorter than 7 days from the date of delivery, as required by law.

  • Once a return request is approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days.


4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are non‑returnable:

  • Customised or personalised products

  • Items unsuitable for return due to hygiene or health reasons once unsealed

  • Worn, washed, or damaged clothing

  • Grocery and food items

  • Certain health and personal care items

  • Underwear and intimate products

5. How to Make a Return (Temu‑Fulfilled Orders)

Most returns are handled directly through Temu’s system.

Step‑by‑Step Process:

  1. Log into your Temu account via the Temu app or Temu.com.

    • If you checked out as a guest, use the “Save Your Order” link in your Temu order email.

  2. Go to Your Orders and select the relevant order.

  3. Click Return / Refund.

  4. Select the item(s) and reason for return.

  5. Choose your refund method:

    • Original payment method, or

    • Temu credit balance.

  6. If a return is required:

    • Pack items securely.

    • A courier (e.g. Buffalo Logistics) may collect the parcel at your address.

  7. Track your return and refund status via Temu notifications.


6. Return Shipping Costs

  • First return per order: Free return shipping (where eligible).

  • Oversized or overweight items:

    • Customer pays return shipping upfront.

    • Shipping cost may be reimbursed as Temu credits after inspection.

  • Second or subsequent returns from the same order:

    • A R80 return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.

We recommend returning all eligible items from an order in one shipment to avoid additional fees.


7. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed after the returned item is received and passes quality inspection.

  • In some cases, an advance refund may be issued at Temu’s discretion.

  • Refunds may be reduced if items are:

    • Used or damaged

    • Missing parts or accessories

    • Improperly packaged during return shipping

Refund Methods:

  • Original payment method (bank or card)

  • Temu credit balance (faster processing, non‑cash, no expiry)

Refunds to banks may take 5–14 business days, and up to 30 days depending on your financial institution.


8. Duties, Taxes & Shipping Fees

  • Import duties and taxes charged by South African customs are non‑refundable.

  • Original shipping fees, insurance, and delivery signature fees are non‑refundable unless the return is due to supplier fault.


9. Incorrect, Missing or Undelivered Items

  • Missing items or parts: Submit a request via the order support centre.

  • Delivered but not received: Submit a claim through Temu support.

These cases are reviewed individually.


10. Return Address

⚠️ Do NOT send returns to the address shown on your delivery package.

Returns must only be sent to the address provided on the official return label issued during the return process.

Sending items to an incorrect address may result in delays or loss.


11. Statutory Warranty Rights

Customers have statutory warranty rights under applicable law for defects or non‑conforming goods. If you experience an issue after the return window, please contact us for assistance.
